Bana Fanaye otherwise called Mahamat Moustapha, said to be the brains of Boko Haram operations in Chad was captured with arranged weapons, and PDA SIM cards for different nations, including Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad and Niger were all recouped from his living arrangement.
Bana Fanaye is said to be the mind behind most Boko Harma operations incorporating arms buys in Chad and northern Cameroon. He was captured on Friday evening.
Media reports cited Chadian authorities as saying that Fanaye is responsible for selecting Boko Haram terrorists, arms buys and arranging of terrorism targets and operations in Chad and northern Cameroon.
Weapons of various types and arranged correspondence devices were found in his home, including more than 50 SIM cards from diverse nations in the sub locale.
It was his capture that helped security strengths find other Boko Haram individuals housed in a zone called Diguel Diguessou in the eighth region, the report said. A large portion of them were executed.
